-- California From My Rearview Mirror...

We packed everything we own into a Bekins moving truck and said a tearful goodbye to our Westlake Village home of 18 years.  Of course I haven't been around 18 years–– my family moved there when my ancestors roamed the earth

Since our home has found a great new owner, Dad said it was time for us to find a new place to dwell. As you may remember, on previous Supervan adventures, we traveled through a town called Bozeman, Montana.  Dad liked the open space; Mom said it would be a great place to write her novels...

I dunno.  I just wasn't sure my parents would fit in to the Montana lifestyle -- they're so..."city," y'know?

♫ ♬   Doo-doo,  doo-doo-doo...  ♫ ♬

But we did it anyway. We are now officially Bozites!!! (is that even a word?)  So when we're not soaking up the sun in Kona, you can find us in Bozeman––God's country.

Our drive from Los Angeles took 3 days.  I rode with Dad in the Supervan and Mom drove separately in our truck.  We arrived at our new home just as the sun dipped low above the mountains:

Everything about our new home seemed perfect.

When it was time for bed, Mom said that there would be squirrels for me to chase in the morning.  I could frolic across the fields of green grass with the warmth of the sun shining brightly on my back.

Ahhh... I closed my eyes...

When I woke up the next morning, I couldn't believe what I saw.  Everything was WHITE.

What the heck happened?  I can't take a poop in that!

I gotta tell you, what a difference a day makes in this town!
